Fluorescent Blue Ready for Use (RFU) DI - 157
Fluorescent Blue 157 Dynamic Plastisol Ink is a readyâforâuse, lowâbleed/lowâcure fluorescent blue plastisol that delivers bold, vibrant color with a soft hand on todayâs cotton and polyâblend garments. Itâs smooth and creamy straight from the bucket, with a semiâgloss finish and opaque opacity so it covers well and prints easily on both manual and automatic presses.
This Flo Blue DIâ157 LB is engineered as a lowâcure ink, typically curing at 270â280°F at the ink film, which helps block dye migration on polyester, 50/50s, and other âbad bleederâ garments while also reducing scorching and shrink on heatâsensitive fabrics. Dynamic inks flash quickly at about 220°F for 3â5 seconds, allowing you to run printâflashâprint or wetâonâwet depending on the job and still keep production speeds up.
Fluorescent Blue 157 offers excellent opacity and bleed resistance, making it a strong fluorescent blue choice for athletic wear, spirit wear, event shirts, and fashion pieces where you want a vivid neon blue that holds its color on blends and polyester. Lawson notes that mileage is approximately 800â1,750 square feet per gallon depending on mesh, stencil, and ink deposit, so itâs suited to both shortârun shops and higherâvolume production.
Like the rest of Lawsonâs Dynamic Ink Series, Flo Blue is nonâphthalate and leadâfree, pressâready, and formulated to provide vibrant color with a smooth, semiâgloss print surface and minimal screen buildâup. It works with all common direct emulsions and capillary films, cleans up with standard plastisol washâups, and performs across a wide mesh range, with 196â305 mesh recommended when you want softerâhand coverage and fine detail.
Stored properlyâroom temperature, away from extreme heat and direct sunlight, ideally below 95°FâFluorescent Blue 157 maintains excellent consistency and printability for up to about a year from the manufacturing date. As part of the Dynamic fluorescent palette, it intermixes well with other Dynamic colors, letting you build custom bright blues and tealâleaning tones while keeping the same lowâcure, lowâbleed performance.
